Getting at the roots of your infertility
Getting at the roots of your infertility
Western medicine has an incredible amount of wisdom to offer when you are working to build your family.
And sometimes, it isn’t enough.
What do you do then?
If the leaves of your favorite plant are droopy, do you pour water on them? Or, do you pour water over the roots?
Your body is built to be fertile, to create new life.
When your body isn’t conceiving, or not creating healthy eggs, or not building a healthy lining, pushing your body to create more eggs or force a great lining can be a bit like trying to nourish droopy leaves by drowning them with water.
Sometimes it is enough – and that’s great.
But if it isn’t working for you, what’s the next step? What’s the root of the reason your body isn’t conceiving?
Working at the level of your Mind and Spirit will give you insight into what is happening at the root levels. I want to offer you a few questions you can start to ask yourself to begin to uncover the roots of your fertility issues so that you can give your body the nourishment it needs to return to full fertility.
Before I do that, however, I want to remind you that asking these questions is NOT about blaming you for your situation. ALL illness has roots in the Mind and the Spirit. And, it is my belief (which you are free to take on or discard as you see fit) that our Souls lead us to the perfect circumstances at the perfect time to allow us to open to a new understanding of ourselves and our relationship with the deepest parts of ourselves.
Not only will asking these kinds of questions lead you to a re-nourishment of your fertility, but they will also give you a new, fuller, more abundant way of living life.
Start with these questions:
- How does dealing with infertility make you feel? When have you felt these emotions before?
- Why do you want a child? What do you not want a child?
- On a scale of 0-10, how easy is it for you receive?
- Have you experienced any sexual trauma?
- How safe is it to have a child in this world?
- How safe are you in the world?
- Who do you need to be to trust in, believe in, or love your Self?
- What role does the Divine play in the unfolding of your day-to-day life?
What are the questions that make your stomach clench? What are the questions that highlight areas of pain, sadness, or need to control?
These are the tips of your roots showing.
