How to handle the emotions of infertility

Transforming the difficult emotions of infertility is a moment by moment choice.

That choice matters to your body and creating your baby.

The number of emotions produced because of infertility is literally overwhelming.

Because those feelings arise at all times, sometimes you have to push them down simply to survive the moment, to do what you have to do in that moment or that day.

Having a way to go back and address/release those emotions is crucial because even if the emotion isn’t in your mind, it is living in your body. 

Your cells are always listening to your emotions.

When you push away a feeling, or feel like you cannot handle a feeling, or a feeling is too hard, your cells read them as danger and start the fight/fight/flee response.

As a result of that response, your cells go into protection mode and stop doing anything other than survival tasks (fertility is not a survival task). 

EFT (emotional freedom technique or tapping)is a phenomenal tool to work with challenging emotions.
