Fertility Intentions for 2022

Any anniversary of time passing can be painful when you have been working at creating your family and you have not been successful. A new year. The date of when you first started trying, of a loss, of when your friends started “lapping” you with multiple children when you’re the age where you thought you’d be complete with your family. On and on.

The new year is interesting, though, because it carries with it an anticipation of freshness, a space that will allow something new and different to unfold.

Our tendency is to set resolutions in this new space.

I don’t want to be the word police (but I’m going to…).

A resolution is all about changing something you don’t like, moving away from something you don’t like.

An intention, on the other hand, is something that you are moving towards, choosing something that you want, saying YES to something.

Biologically speaking, our bodies respond more favorably towards something that we are choosing. When we focus on moving away from something we don’t like, we can accidentally trigger that part of our brain that is always scanning to make sure we are safe. If we have to push away something we don’t want, we aren’t safe and all the warning systems in our body get activated.

While using different language can sound super subtle, it is one way to consistently choose a mind-body-soul state of being that matches what we want.

Here are my suggestions for fertility intentions for 2022 that support your fertility and creating a baby. Take a moment to read through these intentions and see how your body responds to them:

  1. Each day, I allow myself to step more fully into knowing that no matter what happens I am going to be ok.
  2. Each day, I allow myself to step more fully into knowing that I am already a Mother and will have tangible evidence in my arms soon.
  3. I choose only the treatments (whether a medical procedure, yoga, meditation, nutrition, etc) that resonate deeply within me.
  4. I keep connecting to God, Goddess, Divine, Nature, Universe so that I can hear new inspiration.
  5. I actively choose radical self care.
  6. I choose to remember that I can have what I want.
  7. I choose to know that today, right now, just as I am, I am enough.
  8. I choose to remember that my body holds the wisdom to conceive and carry a baby to full term and I will find the balance that allows this wisdom to be present now.

Choose what resonates. Create new versions or new statements to reflect your specific intentions.

Living out these intentions on a daily basis will help you shift into the state of being that I call Being Fertile. This state of being will guide your body back into a state that will rejuvenate your internal fertility systems.
