Jennifer R Bloome, founder of Anji has created A Journey of the Heart, a line of CD recordings utilizing the mind-body connection to give you a sense of peace whenever you need it. The pregnancy CDs are an extension of the CDs for fertility.
The CDs provide a peaceful focus for you during each month of your pregnancy. They make use of the Relaxation Response, a scientifically proven physiologic response that is the exact opposite of the stress response.
What the Relaxation Response is:
- The Relaxation Response is the exact opposite of the stress response. When you elicit this response you create a peaceful feeling throughout your body and mind and your body gets the message that it is safe to turn off the stress response.
- When you elicit this response on a regular basis, your body becomes less responsive to the stress hormones. If your body can’t ‘hear’ the stress messages, it can’t go into the stress response and your body’s natural balance is maintained. By creating peace on a regular basis, you create a positive cycle of emotions.
